As many of you know, the Ohio Department of Education released district and building ratings based on the 2008-2009 State Report Cards. I am proud to announce that Poland North Elementary School received the ODE's highest rating: "Excellent with Distinction".....for the 2nd year in a row! According to the Vindicator's article today, there are 67 schools in Mahoning County that were rated. Of those 67, only 2 were designated Excellent with Distinction. I'd like to congratulate our students, staff, PTO and parents for their commitment to the students of our school!Thank you,
