If all goes according to plan, I will be traveling to Zeller's Greenhouse in Rootstown, Ohio on Friday to pick up several hundred "plugs". Plugs are small plants that are typically about an inch tall. The very nice folks at Zeller's donate the plugs to our school each year and love the fact that our students are "getting their hands dirty". The plants will make our greenhouse come to life in a hurry!In addition, a portion of the money from our recent "Cans for Cash" prize will be used to build small, circular beds in the courtyard. Our students will plant a variety of gardens in them when the weather warms up!
