Our school recently participated in the annual “Earth Day to Earth Day Placemat Contest” sponsored by the Mahoning County Commissioners’ Reuse and Recycling Division and Dominion. For the past four years, Poland North Elementary School has had a large number of students participate in and win honors in this contest. This year is no exception! Like in the past, our school had more winners than any other K-4 elementary school in the county! This is quite an accomplishment and one that we should all be proud of.
