Back to Work!

It's official! I am back to work. I vote to keep the place locked up for a few more weeks, but do not think that will fly with too many parents. Our school is lookin' good. Mr. Sofranec and our custodial staff have done a great job cleaning the building.
Kindergarten's Safety Village will be taking place tomorrow and Thursday. Thank you Mrs. Smith for all of your hard work!

Thanks,
Mr. Masucci

Summer Sizzle!

Summer is quickly coming to an end! You know school is right around the corner when the summer weather finally arrives. I will return to the office on Monday, August 17th. Can you sense my excitement?

I'll be back to blogging starting Monday. Keep your eyes and ears on our site!

Thanks,

Yeah!

Summer has arrived! I'd like to thank our students, staff, PTO and families here at Poland North Elementary School for another wonderful school year. After 15 years, I still do not know of a place that is as special as our school. Thank you.

Mrs. Klase, Mrs. O'Shaughnessy and their Fun Day committee did an outstanding job. Everyone had a blast. Our volunteers were great and a huge help setting up and cleaning up. Thanks for putting our students first.

Thank you,
Mr. Masucci

Have a great day.

1 Down......2 to Go!

After today, there are only 2 more days of school! Wednesday looks like it may be absolutely perfect for our annual Fun Day. Mrs. Klase and her committee have done a fantastic job planning this year's event. Once again, the PTO has come through for our students. Thank you!

During Wednesday's festivities, I'll be found sitting atop the dunk tank. Here is a message to one and all......."Bring it on!"

Thanks,
Mr. Masucci

It's FRIDAY!

Our last full week of school has come to an end. Our 4th graders were on their best behavior today while they listened to the 5th grade band. Afterwards, they had the chance to meet Mr. Kempers, their new principal, and ask questions about 5th grade.

3rd grade headed to Lowellville and 1st grade to the Poland Library this afternoon. In addition, the 4th grade class went bowling with their friends from Union and Dobbins.

Our building was quiet this afternoon!

Enjoy the weekend.

Thanks,
Mr. Masucci

Great Trip!

Our 4th graders take one of the year's best field trips today to the Juvenile Justice Center. During their visit, they will be constantly reminded that making good choices and choosing friends wisely will ultimately lead to success. Making poor choices and hanging with the wrong crowd can lead to other things. It is a very educational trip and one that Ms. Vasko and Mrs. Kaschak feel is extremely beneficial. Be sure to ask them about today's trip. Many may come home and give their parents a HUGE hug!

My family and I attended a Pirate game on Sunday. At that time, I was given the tickets for our school. When I opened the package, I found quite a few more tickets than I expected. If anyone would like additional tickets to the game, please let me know. Ask your family and friends. I would rather give them all away than have any left. Let me know!

Thanks,
Mr. Masucci
