Extra...Extra.....Read All About It!

It's Wednesday! We're getting close to a five day week, too! Our PTO's Book Fair is off to a GREAT start. Mrs. Sabrin and her committee were here to lend helping hands to our shoppers. The Book Fair will be open tomorrow and during "Family Technology Night". Thank you in advance for your support.

Thank you,
Mr. Masucci

P.S. If you are a K-2 student or parent and attending Technology Night, pay attention to tomorrow's voki!

Book Fair!

Mrs. Sabrin and her committee have done an amazing job setting up and organizing this year's book fair. There are some wonderful books available at very reasonable prices. I shared a few of the books this morning in the gym. Ask your children about them! Rooms 109, 107, 110, 104, 202 and 105 will all visit tomorrow. The remaining rooms will have the opportunity to shop on Thursday.

Thank you,
Mr. Masucci

Spring?

Looks like our friendly groundhog to the east is telling us spring is not in our immediate future! With another storm rumored to be heading our way, it looks like winter is here to stay. February is always a busy month. PTO's book fair will begin on Wednesday, February 4th. Information regarding the book fair was sent home a few weeks ago. Call if you have any questions.

I'd like to thank Mike Tomlin, Santonio Holmes, James Harrison, Ben Roethlisberger and the Cardinal's offensive line for a wonderful Super Bowl. Go Steelers!

Thank you,
Mr. Masucci

Here's the Scoop!

Another short week has come to an end. Although we just dug ourselves out from the snow, it looks like another storm may be headed our way. If you are heading to the YSU Basketball games of Saturday, please be careful. I hope to attend, too. Let's hope the Penguins can chalk up a victory.

There is a very nice article in this week's Town Crier about our school's new physical fitness equipment. Our school continues to be very fortunate to have such outstanding coverage.

Enjoy the weekend! Lets hope for 2 things:

1. That Mr. Groundhog doesn't see his shadow on Monday.
2. That the Steelers win the Super Bowl!

Thanks!

Our day ran relatively smoothly despite the modified schedule. I'd like to thank our students, teachers, staff, bus drivers and parents for their patience and cooperation.

Tomorrow is "Super Bowl Day". Students and staff are encouraged to wear their favorite team shirts and/or colors. Let's hope for lots of black and gold! Go Steelers!

YSU basketball tickets are heading home with those who submitted orders. Hope to see you on Saturday. Go Penguins.

Thanks,
Mr. Masucci

2 HOUR DELAY

It's Thursday, January 29th. All of the Poland Schools will be operating under a 2 hour delay. This means school will begin 2 hours later. In our case, school will begin at 10:20 a.m. School buses will be making their runs, but will be 2 hours behind their regular schedules.

Lunch will still be served at its regular time. Dismissal will be the same as well.

Please do not plan on dropping students off earlier than 9:45 a.m.

Thank you,
Mr. Masucci

Snow Day!

Wow! That was a lot of snow. I had to shovel my driveway 5 times. As of right now, we will be going to school tomorrow. However, keep your eyes and ears on our site and the news. I think the roads are the issue right now.

My kids enjoyed their day off. Today's snow was perfect for packin'. We decided to make an igloo. It was a lot of fun, but Dad ended up making most of the bricks.
