Thank You PTO!

Last night's Father-Son Night was one of our absolute best. I'd like tot hank those who were able to attend. Over 95% of our boys participated. I'd like tot hank Mrs. Orr and her committee for another job well done. Look for pictures of the event to be posted soon.

Our 3rd graders and kindergartners sound absolutely amazing. They are putting the final touches on what will be an unforgettable performance Tuesday evening. It will begin at 6:00 p.m.

Tomorrow is Mother-Daughter Movie Night. I'm sure we are going to have a fantastic turnout.

Thanks,
Mr. Masucci

Father-Son Night

Tomorrow is Father-Son Night. Mrs. Orr and her committee have worked very hard to ensure the evening will be a memorable one. While the evening's Olympic-themed events will not begin until a little after six, feel free to arrive around 5:30 or so to get a jump on dinner. Everything should wrap up shortly after 8:30 p.m.

Our greenhouse is quickly filling up. Check fingernails this week for a little dirt. An old friend once told me, "a little dirt never hurt!"

Thanks,
Mr. Masucci

Dinosaurs!

I'd like to thank our kindergarten parents who were kind enough to make today's trip to the Poland Library a success. Our new phone system really came in handy this morning. The kindergartners were treated to a sneak peek of just some of the dinosaurs that will make it to the Covelli Center for the "Walking with Dinosaurs" show.

It is going to be a busy week. Father-Son Night is scheduled for Wednesday, an educational workshop will take place on Thursday and Mother-Daughter Movie Night will occur on Friday. Before we know it, it will be Friday.

Don't forget tomorrow's NED Show. Send in those yo-yo orders.

Thanks,
Mr. Masucci

It's the Weekend!

Our greenhouse is officially open! Thousands of flowers now have a new home. Over the course of the the next few weeks, students will transplant 1 inch "plugs" into pots and begin nurturing them along. Construction has also started on the courtyard's arbor. Within a week, we'll see major progress. Look for pictures soon.

Our Bulldogs played exceptionally well for three quarters last night and built a comfortable lead over LeBron's alma mater. Unfortunately, they had to play the fourth quarter. Akron St. Vincent-Saint Mary turned up the pressure and began making outside shots. In the end, our Bulldogs came up short. Thanks to Coach Grisdale, his staff and the team for another great season.

Enjoy the weekend.

Internet Safety

The Springfield Police Department's Juvenile Diversion Program will host a special event tonight at Springfield Intermediate School. It will be an evening of free education for parents regarding Internet Safety. The guest speaker will be Kathleen Nichols who is the Youth and Juvenile Programs Coordinator for the Ohio Attorney General's office. (Some topics discussed may not be suitable for young children.) The event will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The NED Show will arrive on Tuesday! Click here to learn more. If your child will be purchasing a yo-yo, please be sure to send your payment to school. This is not a fundraiser for the school. By agreeing to sell yo-yo's, our school receives the program for free.

Let's hope the Bulldogs come out on top after tonight's basketball game. If you are heading to the Canton Civic Center, please travel safely.

Thanks,
Mr. Masucci

Mother-Daughter Movie Night!

All girls were given information to take home regarding the upcoming Mother-Daughter Movie Night scheduled for Friday, March 26th. Reservations are due back to school no later than Wednesday, March 24th.

Mrs. Wittenauer's 3rd grade class will be selling popcorn and water Thursday. All proceeds will go toward their upcoming trip to Pittsburgh. Please consider sending in 75 cents to help them out.
Tomorrow is St. Patrick's Day! Our building is in great shape when it comes to leprechaun traps. If we have any visitors tonight, I am sure they'll be caught. I hope to find a pot of gold myself. I would most certainly share it with all of you.

Thanks,
Mr. Masucci

FYI!

I sent a message out as early as I possibly could about the change in tonight's meeting. I hope everyone who was planning on going to the library heard about the change of location. Sorry for the change and short notice!

Thanks,
Mr. Masucci
